Their Cultural Geography class recently explored the wonders of Channel Islands National Park. Their boat journey to the island was a wildlife spectacle, spotting whales and dolphins along the way. They hiked 4 miles to Potato Harbor, soaking in the beauty and reinforcing class learnings on responsible tourism and preserving the environment. Supporting National Parks and honoring the Chumash heritage was the highlight of the Santa Cruz adventure. The day ended with beach time and a refreshing ocean dip.
